I’m Tim Heath, founder of Baroque Developments, with over two decades of experience in the construction industry. Throughout my career I’ve delivered high quality refurbishments, conversions, landscaping and development projects, building a reputation for reliability, organisation and exceptional workmanship. I come from a hardworking family, with strong values passed down through both my parents and grandparents. The high standards I hold today, particularly my attention to detail were shaped early on through the influence of my dad and grandfather, who believed that quality is built in the details. One quote from my grandfather has always stayed with me: “If you’re not going to do it properly, then don’t do it at all.” That mindset has guided my entire career, take pride in your work, never cut corners, and always deliver a finish you’re proud to put your name to. Today, it’s my responsibility to ensure my family and especially my son see’s those same traits in me: integrity, consistency and pride in doing things properly. When I get time away from work, I enjoy travelling with my family, the occasional nights fishing, or a relaxed round of golf with friends.
I’m Ian, a hands-on business owner and property developer with a strong background in management and business growth. My career began in management roles where I developed broad experience across operations, team leadership, financial control, and strategic planning. Over the years, I’ve been involved in the setup, scaling, and day-to-day running of a number of businesses across different sectors, including consultancy firms and hospitality. This has given me a practical, commercially focused understanding of how businesses operate, how value is created, and how to manage risk while driving sustainable growth. More recently, my focus has shifted towards property development and investment. I apply the same management-led approach to property projects — combining disciplined financial analysis, structured project delivery, and a long-term view on value creation. I’m particularly interested in identifying underutilised assets and transforming them into high-quality, well-designed spaces that perform both commercially and practically. Outside of work, I’m always looking ahead — whether that’s identifying new projects, refining ideas, or exploring new opportunities. When I do take a break, you'll generally find me out with the family or on a golf course.
I am a highly experienced Senior Project Manager and Qualified Tradesman with a lifelong passion for construction and the built environment. I began my career with 8 years’ service in the British Army as a Military Engineer, where I developed strong technical skills, hands-on trade experience, and a disciplined, safety-led approach to delivery. This practical foundation continues to shape how I approach every project. After leaving the Army, I progressed through the civilian construction industry, starting as a Trainee Project Manager and advancing through a range of senior roles to become a Senior Project Manager with one of the UK’s largest engineering and construction companies. I have led multidisciplinary teams and delivered complex, high-value projects to demanding programmes and standards. Alongside my professional career, I have been developing residential property for over 15 years. As a qualified tradesman, I bring a practical, on-site understanding of construction, quality, and buildability, supported by strong commercial awareness and programme control. This enables me to bridge the gap between strategic project management and hands-on delivery. I am known for my calm, approachable manner and clear communication style. I work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard from concept through to completion.
With over 10 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, I bring a strong background in refurbishments, new builds, extensions, and loft conversions. Having worked across a wide range of projects, I’ve developed a broad skill set and a deep understanding of delivering work to a consistently high professional standard. As a Site Manager, I take pride in maintaining quality, efficiency, and clear communication across every stage of a project. My previous site management experience has strengthened my ability to lead teams effectively while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. When I’m not tackling the great British weather on site, I enjoy spending time with my family, heading out on dog walks, and keeping active at the gym.
